Skate Buds works to break down economic and social barriers by making skateboarding accessible to kids who often feel left out. Through support from partners across the skate industry, the organization brings the excitement of skating to young people while pairing it with a hands on, learner driven approach to mentorship. Polka Dogz Pet Rescue
Polka Dogz Pet Rescue is a non-profit based in Orlando that is committed to saving dogs in the most need around the central Florida region. Rescuing abandoned, surrendered, or very at risk dogs, and then rehabbing them through medical care and training is central at their mission.

Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center hosts Frontyard Holiday Festival
The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts has launched its Frontyard Holiday Festival, offering free holiday entertainment to the community throughout the season. The outdoor festival features more than 80 local performers from across Central Florida. It includes nightly snowfall effects, live music, games, food and beverages, fire pits for roasting marshmallows and storytelling sessions with Santa Claus. The event is open to guests of all ages at no cost.

The Central Florida Diaper Bank provides support for at-risk mothers, fathers, and guardians. The organization was established in September 1995 with the belief that all children should receive quality care and have their basic needs met. The Central Florida Diaper Bank provides diapers for infants and toddlers ages 0 to 3 and parenting education. The organization also addresses food security, safe sleep environments, and other basic essentials. Collectively, their Distribution Network delivers an average of 92,000 diapers to 1235 families each month in the Central Florida Community.

Rescue Outreach Mission is an emergency shelter in Sanford, Florida. It is unique in Seminole County. The nonprofit supports individuals, families, and children in need of housing. Shelter guests are given beds and meals. They are also given the chance to regroup. Guests are given the skills to pull themselves up and out of homelessness with connections to the right resources.

Cudas Unhooked is an organization that provides support to homeless and at-risk students in New Smyrna Beach who are dedicated to becoming educated, independent, contributing members of society. Some of our teens are threatened by violence, teen pregnancy and homelessness. Cudas Unhooked raises charitable donations to invest in at-risk and homeless teens and ideas that are changing the way our town tackles their future.
