Exantus was released in early October from Kentucky prison, outraging many. He was arrested in Florida for failing to register as a convicted felon. Exantus was accused of killing a 6-year-old boy and attacking the boy's sisters and dad. He was found guilty of assault in attacking the sisters and dad, and not guilty by reason of insanity in the boy's stabbing death.
