Man struck, killed by train in Ocala: Police

OCALA, Fla. - A man was killed while walking across train tracks in Ocala Thursday afternoon, police said.
Around 12:33 p.m., police said they were called to the railroad crossing near the 2000 block of NE 19th Ave after a CSX train struck a pedestrian.
The man reportedly died at the scene.
The railroad crossing on NE 19th Ave. is blocked and detours are in place, police said.
