Demolition begins at former Rockledge hospital

Demolition is underway at a longtime Rockledge landmark, marking the end of an era for a hospital site that served Central Florida for more than eight decades. City and health leaders say the teardown is clearing the way for new emergency medical services after the community lost a critical health care resource last year.
