Work continues on DeBary sinkhole

Work continues on a sinkhole along 17-92 in DeBary.

Crews say they have finished grouting the hole, meaning utility work can now begin. Grouting began at the end of August. Officials previously said repairs could take up to 21 days and could cost $600,000.

The sinkhole opened in August and was originally measured as 30 feet wide and 5 feet deep.

17-92 is still closed at Hollow Pine Drive. Keep an eye out for detour signs.
