Florida Lottery winners denied winnings

FOX 35 News continues to investigate reports that the State of Florida has been withholding lottery winnings because people were overpaid with unemployment benefits during the pandemic.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Check your tickets! An Orlando gas station sold a Florida Lottery ticket worth more than $55,000 over the weekend.

The lucky FANTASY 5 ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven located at 8830 Rose Avenue.

The winning numbers in the Dec. 17 midday draw were 5, 9,13, 18 and 30. 

The ticket holder can claim their prize at any lottery district office.
