Beach conditions worsen as heavy rain, winds hit Daytona Beach

High Surf Advisory in effect through Friday, April 10 for large breaking waves of 8-14' in the surf zone and dangerous swimming conditions. It will be very gusty at the beaches through Thursday with wind gusts at times over 40 MPH coming straight in off the ocean.
