New ramp to open at I-4 and Sand Lake Road interchange
The Florida Department of Transportation was removing overhead signs near the Sand Lake Road interchange with Interstate 4 as part of upcoming roadway changes. A new ramp system will open, providing a more direct connection to Turkey Lake Road. The project includes a new loop ramp that will replace an existing left-hand turn. Transportation officials say the changes are expected to reduce congestion in the area.
