UF researchers use new tool to curb Florida python growth

Researchers at the University of Florida are using machine learning and hunter app data to identify and track large, egg-producing female pythons in order to curb their population growth in the Everglades. UF Qualitative Ecologist Alex Romer is the lead author of a University of Florida (UF/IFAS) study exploring how machine learning can track large, egg-producing female pythons. He joined FOX Orlando Live with Garrett Wymer to explain his findings.
