What to expect for Central Florida Zoo's 50th anniversary celebration

Dust off your bell bottoms and get your glitter ready, because the grooviest party in Central Florida is about to take over the jungle! To celebrate 50 years at its Sanford home, the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens is throwing Zoodio 50—an exclusive, adults-only evening fundraiser that flips the calendar all the way back to 1975. The disco wonderland will be complete with a dance floor and live DJ blasting '70s anthems. The menu is also 70's inspired with a modern twist, Your ticket cost goes toward supporting the zoo's animal care and future wildlife conservation efforts.
