Jury selection begins for Jalen Edgar after 2024 Halloween Night Orlando shooting
Jalen Edgar is charged in connection with the shooting that left two people dead during a crowded Halloween celebration. Edgar, who was 17 at the time of the shooting, is being charged as an adult. Jury selection is anticipated to continue for the next three days after 100 jurors were called on Aug. 18. This comes after Edgar petitioned the judge for an insanity defense.
