Former Florida House Speaker Paul Renner joins FOX 35's Garrett Wymer for an in-depth sit-down discussion on entering the 2026 Florida Governor's race to succeed Ron DeSantis, his history of service in the US Navy in the Gulf War, a public prosecutor and in the Florida House of Representatives, his plans for school choice and continuing the Free State of Florida initiative he pioneered with Governor Ron DeSantis if he wins the Governor's race. Paul Renner will face Trump-endorsed Byron Donalds and Ron DeSantis' Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins in the Republican Primary, and face off with former Congressman David Jolly and Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings on the Democratic side of the ticket.
