Dog dies after protecting children from snake bite

A family pet is credited with protecting two children from a dangerous snake. Their eight-month-old pit bull Zeus prevented a coral snake from biting the children. It happened as the boys were outside cleaning the dog's water dish. The family rushed Zeus to a veterinarian but the dog later died.
