Orlando Sentinel site slated for $2 billion redevelopment

An iconic but long-vacant piece of downtown Orlando is set for demolition next year, clearing the way for a $2 billion redevelopment project on the former Orlando Sentinel property. The newspaper closed its downtown facility in 2020, leaving the 20-acre site empty.
