Why no Atlantic hurricanes hit Florida this year

FOX 35 Storm Team Meteorologist Brooks Garner joins Garrett Wymer to wrap up the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Hurricane season officially ends on November 30. To date, there have been five hurricanes and eight tropical storms, one of which made landfall along the East Coast of the United States. As it stands, 2025 is the first years since 2015 without a hurricane landfall to Florida, and just the second year ever with 3 or more Category 5 hurricanes in the same season
