State inspectors at Epic Universe after rider death

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services said inspectors are working with Universal at Epic Universe after a rider died this week after riding the Stardust Racers dueling coaster. The FDACC said Universal was fully cooperating with its teams. Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, 32, became unresponsive on the ride and was rushed to the hospital, where he died. The Medical Examiner said he died from "multiple blunt force injuries," and ruled his death as accidental. Stardust Racers has been closed since Wednesday night.
