Synagogue sues Orange Co. for religious discrimination

The Orlando Torah Center is suing Orange County, alleging religious discrimination over a denied expansion request. The Orthodox synagogue wants to expand from a one-story building to a three-story, nine-thousand square foot center but Orange County Board of County Commissioners rejected the proposal. Eric Treene, an attorney representing the Orlando Torah Center joins FOX 35's Garrett Wymer live via Zoom to argue they were unfairly denied zoning approval, citing similar permissions approved to nearby churches, schools and a daycare center were approved in similar districts by neighborhoods.
