German Shepherd reunited with family after missing nearly 5

A Central Florida family is celebrating the return of their long-lost German shepherd, Bella, nearly five years after she disappeared. Fort Lauderdale firefighters rescued the dog from a canal near Northwest 23rd Avenue on Tuesday morning, just minutes before she might have drowned. Police scanned Bella?s microchip and spent hours tracking down her owners, eventually reaching Lisa Nicholson.
