Today is a FOX 35 Storm Alert Day in Orlando and Central Florida due to the potential of widespread severe storms from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Main threats include damaging wind gusts past 60 mph, a few storms with larger hail and a low chance for a tornado if sea breeze interacts with storms. The threat for storms will mostly favor areas the Orlando metro, Melbourne and Daytona -- but not Ocala, Clermont or Tampa.
