Woman recovering after random knife attack: Deputies

A young woman is recovering from a brutal, random knife attack that took place outside a gas station on John Young Parkway in Orange County. The suspect, identified as Sampson Pettit, was reportedly under the influence of drugs and in possession of 20 grams of cocaine at the time of the assault.
