2 hurt after 5-vehicle crash in New Smyrna Beach

New Smyrna Beach Police said the South Causeway Bridge was shut down Monday afternoon after a 5-vehicle crash happened. Authorities said a driver fled from a traffic stop, sped across the bridge, and then crashed into other vehicles. Two people, including the driver, were taken to the hospital with serious alerts.
