All-clear after report of person with weapon near Volusia school

Heritage Middle School in Deltona was put on a brief lockdown on Thursday after a student reported possibly seeing someone with a weapon near the school's campus. The Volusia Sheriff's Office investigated and did not locate a suspicious person or a weapon.
