Who will replace Regina Hill after suspension?

On Monday, Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended Hill, but he added that she could return to office if exonerated. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer said the council would meet in one week to address the special election. Community advocate Shaniqua Shan Rose has announced she would like to run for Hill's seat and be on the ballot for the potential special election.
