Port Orange Police update on Tuesday shooting

The Port Orange Police Department said officers responded to a man reportedly in mental crisis on Tuesday. The man "charged" at one of the officers while armed with a knife, and then disregarded commands to drop the knife, police said. Officers shot the man, who died at the scene.
