SWAT standoff ends in Orlando

A five-hour standoff between Orlando police officers and a person who had barricaded themselves inside a unit of a residential complex in downtown Orlando has ended. A SWAT team arrived at the complex located near the intersection of Beech Ave. and Bentley Street shortly before 6 p.m. to attempt to communicate with the individual. A woman with a bandage wrapped around her arm was taken out of the unit, along with her three children.
