DeSantis wants retired police, first responders as teachers

Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday teased legislation aimed at recruiting to teaching jobs retired law-enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and firefighters who have bachelor’s degrees.
