Officials asking for publics help identifying alleged car thief in Marion County

What we know:
ORLANDO, Fla. - A man in Marion County stole a vehicle and took it for a joyride before abandoning it. Now officials are hoping to identify the thief before he steals again.
On January 22, around 2:27 a.m., the suspect stole a Lincoln MKZ that was parked at Ocala Charter High School.

The car was later found abandoned in the 400 block of NE 42nd Street.

Officials are asking if anyone has any information about this individual to contact the Marion County Sheriff's Office or call in a tip through Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP(7867), please reference 25-01.
