I-95 partially closed in Volusia County due to brush fires; 20 vehicles burned, officials say
Multiple brush fires in Volusia County burned nearly two dozen vehicles at a campground and shut down Interstate 95 for hours on Sunday afternoon, according to Volusia County officials and the Florida Department of Transportation. Officials said four small brush fires – totally 10 acres in size – are burning in the area.

Both directions of Interstate 95 are closed in Volusia County, near Port Orange. I-95 is closed between Interstate 4 and State Road 400 in Daytona Beach and State Road 421 (Dunlawton Avenue) in Port Orange, FDOT said. Traffic cameras showed significant smoke crossing the freeway, as well as significant traffic delays.

20 vehicles burned at campground
Officials with Volusia County said in a news release that 20 vehicles were burned at the Crazy Horse Campground, near the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market. The fire burning near the campground and the flea market is "under control." First responders are monitoring conditions in nearby neighborhoods. So far, evacuations are not needed at this time, the county said.
