Reckless driving charge dropped for Ex-Titusville chief

Former Titusville Police Chief John Lau pleaded not guilty Thursday afternoon to several charges stemming from a June 2026 crash in a city vehicle, though prosecutors dropped one count of reckless driving. Lau was fired following the crash after refusing to submit to mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
