Florida leaders, advocates propose SLOTHS Act | FULL

Congressman Maxwell Frost and Congresswoman Laurel Lee have introduced the SLOTHS Act, which would ban the import of sloths into the U.S., following the deaths of more than 50 sloths tied to the now-closed Sloth World Orlando. The bill would have limited exceptions for research or conservation-focused breeding programs. Oct. 20 is also International Sloth Day.
