Titusville lagoon back open after sewer pipe burst

TITUSVILLE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Indian River Lagoon is back open in Titusville after nearly a million gallons of raw sewage poured into it. The city says that the lagoon is now cleared for swimming, boating, and fishing.

Officials say that an old sewer pipe burst last week. They say it was connected to the sewer main, even though it should not have been. 

Crews were able to cap the leak within three hours of it being reported.
