TAVARES, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Detectives with the Tavares Police Department are searching for a suspect in a man's death.
Tavares Police on Wednesday morning received a 911 call from a woman screaming for help. Officers arrived on scene at a residence on Rosewood Lane and began to render aid to a man who was later pronounced deceased. Officers said the woman was not injured.
Witnesses told officers that two men -- one Caucasian and one possibly Hispanic -- fled the scene, driving a white Chevy Avalance with body damage. Subjects are considered armed and dangerous.
