Deputies search for gunman who shot at teen

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Seminole County Sheriff's Office is looking for the person who shot at a 15-year-old who was riding in a car in Altamonte Springs.

Deputies say Tamar Harris, 15, was a passenger in a car at around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, when someone standing in the middle of the street near the intersection of Pine Avenue and Central Street shot a gun in his direction.

Detectives say Harris' car kept on going and slammed into a light post at the end of the street when deputies arrived and found the teen lying in the street next to the car.

Harris died a short time later at a local hospital.
