Ormond Beach woman's daughter missing in Mexico

Mary Foy of Ormond Beach is desperate to find her daughter.

“I'm just very concerned for her well-being,” said Foy. “I think about her every day all day long, I wait by the phone I take the phone every place I go in case I get a phone call that's saying that she's been found.”

Foy says her 16-year-old daughter Amanda Memmolo went to live with her father and uncle in Canada last year, she says everything was fine until this April, because her communication with Amanda seemed restricted.

“I had a feeling in my heart, that something was going to happen,” Foy said.

Foy says she got a court order to see her daughter in July, but it was too late, police in Hamilton Ontario says Amanda was reported missing on august 1st, now believed to be in Mexico with her uncle Bruno Memmolo since August 15th -- Canadian news outlet CHCH spoke to Hamilton Police back in August.

"Our main concern right now is she is a 16-year-old person but what is her mental well-being as well as her physical well-being and did she leave on her own accord," said Det. Sgt. Dave Beech of the Hamilton Ontario Police Department

What's worse Amanda has Autism Spectrum Disorder and epilepsy, even though she's 16 her mom says she has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old and doesn't have her medication, tonight Foy is trying to save enough money to travel to Mexico, to try and find her daughter

"I'm afraid that I'm never going to see her again," said Foy.
