Four-year-old Winter Garden boy with leukemia receiving Halloween cards and gifts

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Strangers across the country are cheering on a Winter Garden boy who is fighting leukemia. 

On his favorite holiday, four-year-old Carter just wants to be a super hero and thankfully, he already is pretty super to a lot of people. Halloween cards have been overflowing his family's mailbox for weeks, as strangers send him letters.

All of this comes after his mom, Tiffany, posted to Facebook that Carter could use a little pick-me-up this year after being diagnosed with leukemia. Starting three years of tough chemotherapy, she just asked for people send him a smile for Halloween.

People from as far as New York are sending letters and strangers are even bringing gifts.
