Brevard Zoo planning $70 million aquarium near Port Canaveral

PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Brevard Zoo has a small aquarium area in its Melbourne park. It has several species of local fish and even two baby stingrays.

But the current display of Brevard County's local aquatic life pales in comparison to what's on the drawing board.  New plans call for a $70 million aquarium to be be built on land owned by Port Canaveral and just across A1A from the docks.
