Body washes ashore in Daytona Beach Shores
DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Authorities in Volusia County are investigating after the discovery of a body.
A little before 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a woman was walking the beach when she found a deceased male in the tide line at Daytona Beach Shores.
The identity of the person or a known cause of death was not immediately released. Investigators say it appears by the condition of his body that he was in the ocean for a day or two.
