ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Orlando International Airport is ready to handle the holiday travel rush.
AAA is predicting that the Orlando metro area will be the most popular Thanksgiving destination in the country, with a total of 1.82 million passengers traveling through OIA during the 14-day holiday travel period.
Officials say the busiest travel day at OIA will be Saturday, November 24 with more than 152 thousand passengers.
