Emergency road crews worked through Thursday night to repair a portion of State Road 528.
The road was damaged Thursday morning after a semi-truck crashed and caught fire, blocking the eastbound lanes near Dallas Boulevard for hours.
According to Florida Highway Patrol the semi was hauling wooden doors when it hit the guardrail and overturned.
Repair crews worked to resurface the road before rush hour on Friday.
Crews were able to get some lanes of eastbound 528 opened around 6 pm Thursday night, the rest reopned around 3 am.
The eastbound off-ramp for Dallas Blvd. remained closed until about 6 am Friday morning.
