Emily Torres will graduate from Seminole High School and will begin training in the Air Force ROTC at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona on a full scholarship. She will graduate with a 3.8 GPA and has earned the national title of the 2024 Outstanding Cadet for the Military Officers Association.

Congratulations to FOX 35 Stellar Senior Carlos Alvarado Cordero. He will graduate from Gateway High School and will take classes at Osceola Technical College in the fall. He starred in the last two spring plays. His teachers describe him as kind and respectful. He hopes to follow in the footsteps of Lin-Manuel Miranda, who famously wrote and produced "In The Heights" and "Hamilton."

Group of Colombian Nationals arrested for theft at music festival
A group of 8 Colombian Nationals were arrested over the weekend for theft at music festival Welcome to Rockville. Sheriff Mike Chitwood says over 70 phones, credit cards and other personal items were stolen by the group during the four day festival. They are currently being held in the Volusia County jail.
