Uber driver working extra to earn money for his daughter's birthday in coma after shooting

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - An Uber driver in San Antonio, Texas was shot and robbed on Thursday while working extra hours so he could pay for a birthday party for his 8-year-old daughter.
According to MySanAntonio.com, 51-year-old Kim Troy Williams was shot twice on Thursday morning after picking up two passengers. His sister-in-law, Amy Keslar, posted about the incident on her Facebook page, saying that as a result, he is "in the fight for his life now at the hospital."
Police finally made the first arrest in the case on Friday when they apprehended 18-year-old Jesus Luna. He is accused of taking part in the robbery and shooting of Williams.
The second suspect in the incident, 25-year-old Joe Albert Gover, was arrested this weekend. He also is accused of taking part in the robbery robbery and shooting of Williams. He faces a charge of Aggravated Robbery.
While these suspects have been apprehended, Williams remains in the hospital. He is in critical but stable condition, according to a GoFundMe page created for his recovery and medical bills. His small intestine, liver, and other organs were severely damaged. According to MySanAntonio.com, Williams is in a medically induced coma after enduring four surgeries.
The GoFundMe page also stated that Williams has an 8-year-old daughter and a wife to support. He will now be out of work for an undetermined amount of time. Amy describes Williams as "genuinely one of the kindest people you will ever meet," on her Facebook.
MySanAntonio.com stated that Williams normally works at a T.J. Maxx distribution warehouse, but joined Uber to earn extra money for his daughter's ninth birthday party.
The GoFundMe page was created by his brother, Adam Williams, and Kim's sister-in-law, Amy Kesler. They hope it will help relieve some of the burden the family is feeling right now, as they try to process and be with Kim during this tragic time.
