Absentee ballots go out across Florida

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Absentee ballots can now be sent out across Florida.

On Tuesday, they are going in the mail across Volusia County. According to the Daytona Beach News Journal, officials say the absentee ballots counted for about 28% of those who voted in the 2016 general election.

They say that if the trend continues, they expect that number to be higher for this coming election.
