Police release composite sketch in rape investigation
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Police have released a composite sketch in connection to a rape investigation at an apartment complex in Gainesville.
On Wednesday Gainesville Police Department responded to Tivoli Apartments for reports of a sexual battery.
The victim told police she was working out at her apartment gym when a black male knocked on the door. The victim let the man in and he grabbed her, pulled her into the bathroom. In the bathroom the suspect physically attacked and sexually battered her.
The suspect is described as a black male, 18-21 years old, and roughly 180-210 lbs.
He was described as wearing a red, white, blue striped polo shirt and khaki shorts.
Gainesville Police Department are urging anyone to call detectives at 352-393-7670 if they have any information on this incident.
