Steven Sotloff's parents to speak at UCF

It was a year ago when Steven Sotloff was executed by militant with the Islamic State.  Sotloff attended the University of Central Florida from 2002 to 2004, and on Monday, his parents were scheduled to give a lecture to a Principles of Journalism class -- one of the many ways of keeping their son's legacy alive, they say.

Sotloff was one of the American journalist who disappeared in 2013, and he was decapitated by ISIS in 2014.  His parents have established the Steven Sotloff Memorial Endowed Fund, which provides scholarship support to UCF students majoring in journalism, as well as funding for lectures and other programming to advance journalism education.
