S.R. 429 shutdown after dump truck crash
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A major crash has shutdown the southbound lanes of State Road 429 in Ocoee.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. on SR 429 at mile marker 26, near West Road.
According to Orange County Fire Rescue, a dump truck overturned and spilled sand all over the roadway.
There was heavy entrapment reported initially, according to fire rescue, but at least one person has been transported with serious injuries.
Law enforcement will remain on the scene to clear the road.
