Residents shocked, saddened by death Casselberry senior

CASSELBERRY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A 23-year-old man will be charged in the killing in the death of an elderly Casselberry man, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office announced late Monday night.

Investigators say Edward Marrero was spotted driven a stolen car belonging to 87-year-old Wallace Dean Worman hours after Worman was found dead in his home on Norwich Court.

Worman, 87, was found deceased following a well-being check by a friend.  Deputies said Worman appeared to have suffered severe trauma, and there was no sign of forced entry.

Marrero was jailed in Orange County on unrelated charges, which charges related to Worman’s death pending from Seminole County.
