1 hurt in Orlando neighborhood shooting, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. - One person was hurt in a shooting in an Orlando neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Orlando Police Department. 

The shooting happened just before 1:40 p.m. in the 5000 block of Lescot Lane. 

Police said the victim was transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries and their identity are unknown at this time. 

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
