Search underway for aggravated domestic battery suspect

HOLLY HILL, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Deputies are asking the public to help located an aggravated domestic battery suspect.

Volusia County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the search for 38-year-old Aaron Rogers. Rogers is wanted on a charge of aggravated domestic battery out of Holly Hill.

Deputies say the victim in the case sustained severe facial injuries at the hands of the suspect, who was already on home confinement and serving a probation in a previous domestic violence case.

Rogers jumped off a second-floor balcony and fled from Holly Hill police officers who responded to the incident Thursday morning at the Blue Tide Apartments.

Roger was last seen driving a silver 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible with a Florida tag Y56-WSB.

Deputies are calling Rogers a "dangerous suspect," and are asking for the public's help in locating him.
