Bicyclist struck, killed by suspected drunk driver

Winter Park, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A bicyclist was struck and killed Saturday morning by a suspected drunk driver. 

Investigators say the 49-year-old man from Winter Park was hit on Semoran Boulevard near Hanging Moss Road around 11:15 a.m.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Eric Febres, 33, was driving a Nissan pickup truck. 

He was arrested and is now charged with DUI manslaughter. 

FHP says Alicea gave blood to be tested for alcohol, drugs or both in his system.

The name of the victim has not been released, pending notification of kin.
