Passengers and flights were delayed for approximately an hour before the all clear was given.  The toy grenade was found in a checkpoint that prompted an evacuation.  Passengers that were already through security were being held in the terminal area.  The rest were forced back to the public lobby.

Authorities said that a 17-yr-old Boy Scout who was traveling with his father was carrying the fake grenade within his bag, discovered at Hobby Airport checkpoint.

Now all passengers are being allowed to continue to their destinations. Hobby Airport says you can expect some delays. Be sure to check with your airline to determine if you need to adjust your schedule.
